“Female power against poverty and gender marginalization”
Association “Youth Initiative Group” is a partner of the training Course “Female power against poverty and gender marginalization”. The training is planned to take place in Dojran, Macedonia from 23 – 30 October 2010. The aim is to develop competences of youth workers/leaders on how to work with gender issues and combat poverty and gender marginalization. Ii the same time different tools and methods will be give to the participants so they can act as multiplies and future fighters against gender marginalization.
The working methods of the course are based on non formal educational approaches. Input and discussions in plenary sessions, thematic working groups and workshops on different approaches to gender issues will provide further knowledge and understanding of the issue.
This training course will be implemented in the frame of the Youth in Action
Programme, so therefore the accommodation and food for all participants will be covered by the organizers. The organizers will also reimburse 70 % of the travel expenses of the participants.
