Forum of Russian compatriots’ youth organizations
During the festival “Youth of XXI Age” the association “Youth Initiative Group” will make Forum of Russian compatriots’ youth organizations in Lithuania. This three-day-long event will be organized to the young people, who participate into the activity of youth organizations. The ambition is to strengthen youth organizations in order to have youth interests better represented and defended both on the regional and national levels.
Expected project results
QUANTITATIVE:
• the leaders of Russian compatriots‘ youth organizations will get to know more about the civil society, that will help them to represent interests of Russian-speaking youth of Lithuania;
• youth leaders will form their own objective point of view about the existing situation of non-governmental Russian-speaking youth organizations in Lithuania and make methods in order to activate work of the mentioned organizations;
• the participants of the forum will talk over the “identity” topic of the Russian-speaking youth organizations in Lithuania;
• young leaders will increase the level of their competence in the social activities field;
• consolidation of Russian-talking youth in Lithuania.
QUANTITAVE:
• 30 young leaders and 15 compatriots’ youth organizations will take part in the forum;
• at least 7 future projects will be made among different compatriots’ youth organizations.
