"Do it for your peace!"

13–21 of August – we became partners of the project "Do it for your peace!" (Turkey, Tekirdag), which involved youth organizations from England, Italy, Lithuania, Spain and Turkey. The main theme – democracy, tolerance, active citizenship through the various methods: fine art, drama games, discussions. Association "Youth Initiative Group" was represented by 1 group leader Margo Karachanova + 4 participants (Margarita Bareikyte, Aleksandr Trubinov, Pavel Jasin and Jelena Gaiducenia). Lithuanian group taught partners to dance “polka” and also recalled the idea of tolerance in everyday life through the art of theatre on the big stage. Association "Youth Initiative Group" is grateful to its representatives, who have demonstrated punctuality, discipline, responsibility, friendship and various competences in the fields of art during the whole project.
