“Lithuanian Eurotrip”
On the 19–22 of March in Dusseldorf (Germany) the chairperson of “Youth Initiative Group” Jevgenija Avedenij took part in the international meeting of the youth organization representatives from Hungary, Poland, Germany, Slovakia and the Czech Republic. The aim was to discuss “Lithuanian Eurotrip” — the international travelling youth exchange that will be held in Lithuania in July-August this summer.
This project is a part of other networking activities between European youth organizations in order to stimulate the collaboration among youth of the East and the West. Lithuania is a new member of this network; therefore, this particular project ("Lithuanian Eurotrip") makes it possible for other members to uncover our country from various angles. Approximately 70 youngsters from 6 European countries will travel through Lithuania in small groups and uncover Lithuanian values, people, non-governmental organizations, opportunities and directions of co-operation, etc.
The project will take place in Lithuania during the July – August of 2010.
