Having evaluated the experience, knowledge and competences that the members of the assocation “Youth Initiative Group” have collected over the years of work in various fields of a youth work, it was decided to think of a challenge, by overcoming which the members of association would not only determine personal competences and the level of quality in their work, but also that would be a certain attempt to further development. Project “Integration DREAM” is complex by its form (i.e. it consists of several stages, each one of which is bound into i single systematic approach). What is more, the final beneficiary of this project are young people who live in the orphanage – more specifically, those, who are to leave an orphanage in a year or two, or those who just recently did it and started independent lives. The project aims to forward the experience and competences possessed by youth organisation to youngsters who grew up in an orphan house, in order to foster social inclusion of this group through their integration into the learning space and the labour market. The unique programme will allow members of youth organisation to learn from practice (learning by doing approach, i.e. experiential learning). Meanwhile, this project will be beneficial to youngsters living in orphanages and to specialists who work there.
