“Using methods and materials on the topic of cultural diversity as part of intercultural education”
The specific project objectives were:
- Improving participants’ competences regarding the cultural diversity;
- Acquiring competences in the intercultural education field;
- Promoting the cultural diversity as a tool of intercultural education;
- Encouraging participation in youth projects of the local organizations;
- Promoting non-formal learning methods and youth participation in youth activities;
- Strengthening European dimension in partner organizations;
- Involvement of youth coming from Roma communities in youth projects.
During the project implementation and project activities performance the following working methods were used:
- Workshops;
- PPT presentations;
- Debates;
- Simulation;
- Pros and cons ideas;
- Simulation games.
The project embraced 13 organizations from 12 countries: Greece, Denmark, Holland, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Portugal, Romaine, Spain, Turkey, Finland and France. Association “Youth Initiative Group” was represented by Anton Lavrentjev and Ana Jersova.
